Description
The Japanese consider matcha a nourishing tea because of its high concentration of vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll, and antioxidants. It has a mild taste and when prepared it is the colour of jade. Ground to a fine powder, the traditional way to prepare this tea is to add a small quantity (1/8 to 1/4 tsp) to hot water, whisk it and then drink it quickly. You can also add some to your smoothy!
